Marchmont is a sought after residential area to the South of the City Centre with good local shopping, banking and postal services and an abundance of bars and restaurants.
Further shopping facilities can be found in the city centre itself and also at nearby Cameron Toll Shopping Centre. In addition, there is an excellent choice of theatres, multi-screen cinemas and the Royal Commonwealth Pool.
The area is also close to the Meadows which is an attractive public park and is also within walking distance of Arthur’s Seat/Holyrood Park.
There is good local transport service to the City Centre which, in any case, is within walking distance. There is also easy access to the City Bypass and main motorway networks.
