Living in Hilltown
Popular with the commuter, Hilltown is located to the south east of the city and within easy travelling distance of Edinburgh city centre. Approximately three and a half miles travelling by car or bus lies the New Royal Infirmary. Local amenities can be found in the village of Danderhall, approximately two miles away, where there are good local shops to provide everyday needs and primary school.
There is a good variety of retail outlets and leisure facilities at Cameron Toll and Fort Kinnaird Retail Park both a short drive away. The new Sheriffhall Park and Ride station is nearby.
