Living in Brunstane
Brunstane lies to the east of the city centre and is a popular residential area. There are good local shopping facilities in the area with an Asda Hypermarket and Fort Kinnaird retail and leisure park being nearby. Musselburgh and Portobello also have good shopping facilities and there is easy access to the city centre with a good public transport service and Brunstane Train Station within walking distance. The area also has easy access to the city bypass.
Schooling is well represented in the area at primary and secondary levels and the area is close to the Jewel and Esk Valley College and within easy reach of the new Queen Margaret University Campus.
