Wendy Rowat is McDougall McQueen’s Property Manager, Sales, and is based in the Bruntsfield office. Having joined the firm in 2003 when it was previously McQueen Legal, Wendy has gone from working from a room in Mary’s house to being part of a firm with over 70 Partners and staff and nine offices.
The fact she has shared a room with Gerard Butler aside, Wendy has spent the past 20 years working in property and law. Her paramount concern is to her clients, establishing a relationship with them and ensuring that they are happy and armed with all the necessary advice when making their sale, whether this is their first home or an investment property.
Wendy knows the Edinburgh property market inside out. She lives in North Middleton, a small village a mile and a half outside Gorebridge just off the A7, and is heavily involved in the local community there. With two girls that make her laugh and drive her crazy all the same, two mad dogs, and a very well behaved husband, when she is not organising events as part of the local village committee, you will find Wendy on the west coast in Tighnabruaich, relaxing and drinking a cheeky gin and tonic.
