Pam McKeand joined the business 5 years ago, and it was in September 2016 when she was off on maternity leave that she was promoted to Partner (of, at that time, McQueen Legal). Pam has many years experience both in the property field and with private client work and is a qualified Solicitor and Notary Public.
Based in the firm’s Chesser office, she currently focuses on all types of residential property work – purchases, sales, remortgages, equity releases, transfers of title – you name it, Pam is the person to speak to when it comes to residential property.
Pam lives in an Edwardian Cottage in Ratho with her family – slightly further afield from Rockall, a very small uninhabited island located around 300miles off the west coast of Scotland, where her chartered surveyor husband Nick Hancock is famous for spending 43 days on the most remote outpost in the UK and setting a record for the longest solo occupation of Rockall as well as the longest occupation of Rockall in history! Ratho is famous for the place where the last person to be executed in Edinburgh was from, but don’t let that put you off (it was back in 1864!). Ratho, which is handy for the bypass, M8 and M9, is a conservation area with some beautiful walks along the Canal, a great community spirit… and also a very good local pub!
