The quick answer to this is no. It is not possible to change someone’s Will after they have died. You must appreciate that when someone draws up a Will, they are expressing their wishes and directing their executor in the distribution of their estate. If they have passed away, they clearly cannot do that!
However, there is a way in which the distribution of the estate can be changed – whether there is a Will or not. Using a Deed of Variation, beneficiaries in an estate can redirect the share of the estate to which they are entitled either wholly or partly.
