With the current changing situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to update you on the steps McDougall McQueen is taking to reduce the potential impact on client service delivery and to minimise the risk the virus poses to our staff, clients and others with whom we work.
All of our offices throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians remain open, and it is business as usual for now (with some changes to hygiene and cleaning routines). We are following UK and Scottish government advice and monitoring it on an ongoing basis. We will review our policies and plans in line with any changes to government advice.
- We operate from 6 locations across Edinburgh and the Lothians and, importantly, have a multi-site approach to our business. This gives us the flexibility to temporarily relocate activities or teams to other sites if necessary.
- We have the technology to enable staff to work from home as required.
- We have the technology in place to facilitate transfer of calls to staff mobile phones.
- We have encouraged staff to minimise social and business travel.
Our aim is to continue to provide our usual high level of client service and care. We will use all the technology at our disposal to ensure that we keep operating and communicating as effectively as possible. Inevitably there may be some disruption. Please be assured that all communications will be answered, although there may be some delays. We encourage you to communicate with us by email wherever possible as this will enable us to minimise delays in replying and to keep clients and staff safe.
